Minutes of Special Executive Committee Meeting
Col. William E. Weber Chapter 142, KWVA
December 6, 2022

In Attendance: Commander Becker, Secretary Wienhoff, Treasurer Mount, Chipley, Thornton and Cody
Unable to Attend: Vice Commander Eader, Kephart, Murphy, Rinehart and Hall
Commander Becker called the meeting to order at 11:45 am.
Minutes of the November 1, 2022 regular Executive Committee Meeting and the November 21, 2022 Special Executive Committee Meeting were presented for approval and were approved on Motion by Cody, second by Thornton.
Treasurer's report was presented by Treasurer Mount, which consisted of the Balance Sheet for November 30, 2022 and Income and Expense for November 2022. After review, the report was approved on motion by Chipley, second by Cody.
The following matters were discussed:
- Commander Becker reported that the final details for the Christmas Party had been finalized with Dutch’s Daughter Restaurant. Three attendees from the Korean Embassy will be attending names, of members who died the past year will be read, the closing of the Chapter will be announced and guests of honor recognized. A $1,000 donation to the Veterans History Project will be presented.
- A Special Executive Committee is being called for Tuesday, December 13, 2022 to discuss matters concerning the dissolution of the Chapter.
Old Business: none
New Business:
- Motion made by Mount, second by Chipley to donate $2,500 to the proposed Frederick Museum of Wars of the Twentieth Century being headed by Priscilla Rall at the Christmas Lunch.
- A motion was made by Chipley, second by Thornton to donate $2,000 to the Citizens Nursing Home Auxiliary for the benefit of veterans at the home.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:20 pm on motion by Cody, second by Wienhoff.

In attendance: Commander Becker, Secretary Wienhoff, Treasurer Mount, Chipley and Thornton
Unable to attend: Vice Commander Eader, Kephart, Murphy, Rinehart, Cody and Hall
Commander Becker called the meeting to order at 11:40 am.
Minutes of the December 6, 2022 Special Executive Committee Meeting were presented for approval and were approved on Motion by Mount, second by Chipley,
The following matters were discussed:
- Articles of Dissolution have been approved by the State of Maryland.
- Priscilla will take possession of the items in the storage locker. Will discuss at the Christmas Party tomorrow with the goal of moving the material on Saturday, December 27th.

New Business:
- Motion made by Mount, second by Thornton to donate $5,000 to AMVETS.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:10 pm on motion by Wienhoff, second by Thornton.
